This is a
magazine for and by
skeptics. They specialize in
investigating various allegedly
paranormal or
supernatural phenomena. Articles have been written on subjects ranging from
Aliens and
Roswell to
ESP. So far they have not become convinced of the reality of any
supernormal phenomenon.
Needless to say, many of the subjects of their investigations disagree with their results and methodologies. They have unquestionably documented much fraud and error, more often by assembling the results of research already done than by original work. The members of their organization include scientists and professional stage magicians, as well as other professionals.
They are also interested in issues of education and the press, who is informing or misleading the public and what can be done to improve the situation.
Occasionally they stray from this sort of thing into real scientific or social controversies, in which real experts disagree with one another.
