Started in the late 1970's with some habits borrowed for a performance of the Sound of Music, and originally just a fun society hack, the Sisters have been transformed(thanks, largely, to the AIDS crisis) into a very vocal and visible activist group. And they even manage to have fun while doing good stuff.
