Shapwick House is one of the many boarding houses of Millfield School, Street, Somerset, UK. This is its House Song written (I think) before it moved from its namesake village onto the schools campus.

Last Saturday Night I got into a fight,
and woke up in a blue room with a hell of a fright.
Said Barry young fella your in for a spell,
Two years public fagging in the Shapwick Hotel.

Toodle loo way up I can tell,
Wallah Wallah,
Theres no place on Earth like the Shapwick Hotel.

Its Porridge Each Morning, as Strong as its thick.
It Clogs up the drains and puts lumps on your ..... elbows!!
How do you make it when all is spent ?
Use two lots of sand and one of cement.

Toodle loo way up I can tell,
Wallah Wallah,
Theres no place on Earth like the Shapwick Hotel.

Its Fish every Friday, its as long as its wide,
it covers the plate and flops over the side.
You can tell its Friday just by the Smell,
Cos the Fish has done time in the Shapwick Hotel.

Toodle loo way up I can tell,
Wallah Wallah,
Theres no place on Earth like the Shapwick Hotel.

You had better sleep like dogs, you better sleep like logs,
cos the bed bugs bight like terrier dogs.
They punch and they Kick and they Wrestle as well,
they throw you out of bed in the Shapwick Hotel.

Toodle loo way up I can tell,
Wallah Wallah,
Theres no place on Earth like the Shapwick Hotel.

The Prefects tuck you in and turn out the light,
Check you off their lists and wish you good night.
They will read you a bed time story as well,
Cos they do bloody Strange things in the Shapwick Hotel.

Toodle loo way up I can tell,
Wallah Wallah,
Theres no place on Earth like the Shapwick Hotel.

There used to be more verses but they have slipped from my memory. If you know them then write them up.
