Shanghai Trader is a politically incorrect boardgame with vague elements of role-playing. The scene is Shanghai from about 1850-1950. There are six players representing Britain, France, Germany, Japan, Russia and the USA. The goal is to rip off the locals for as much money as possible while preventing the other players from doing the same, and then to escape alive before the revolution comes. Any foreigner stuck in the city when the revolution comes is, quite rightfully, thrown against a convenient wall and shot.
