There is a
double standard in how people are objectified. It is
socially unacceptable (not
politically correct) for a man to regard an
image of a
woman as sexy. Women glare at men who stare at them, and slap or
sue those who
fondle them. Yet it is acceptable for a woman to stare at a man's wallet or 'fondle' it?
It is unfortunate that men regard woman as sex objects of breasts, boobs, and butts. It is equally unfortunate that men are looked at as cash, checkbook and car.
What does it take for us as a society to stop regarding the superficial as important? When will men stop regarding women as sex objects? When will women stop regarding men as success objects?
