This is a play by the Italian playwright Carlo Goldoni. It is the story of the wily, but lovable Truffaldino - a servant who tries to work for two masters at the same time, getting himself and everyone else into a multitude of scrapes. Other characters include pompous parents trying to micro-manage the love lives of their children, a feisty servant girl, a smarmy manipulator, a beautiful girl pretending to be her brother, and a dashing young man running from the law.
