Brain disorder that affects movement and coordination. Symptoms include uncontrollable wandering or jerky movements and facial grimacing which disappears when the afflicted is asleep. May result from an untreated streptococcal infection - treatment usually consists of mild sedatives to help control the movements and antibiotics. St. Vitus' Dance is a temporary, easily treatable condition and looks much worse than it actually is.
