In French translation it is known as the Rue d'Amour, a narrow pathway connecting the five villages of Cinque Terre. At the start of the pathway exists a "tunnel of love" which is full of declarations of love. Some writings are as old as the stone used to build this charming passage.

A very romantic honeymoon tradition is to walk through the tunnel with your lover while you both enjoy a gelato and perhaps sign your names somewhere on the walls of the tunnel within the Rue d'Amour.
