80s/90s indie rock band from Columbus, Ohio that had the unique
ability to channel the Ohio Players and the JB's, so to speak;
lead singer David Ellison used to mow Sugar Bonner's lawn, once upon a time,
so that may explain it. A less-charismatic version of the Red-Hot Chili Peppers (and they covered "Love Rollercoaster" ten years earlier), but they developed a wider palette. Omerta may be their best. Or maybe not. Part of The Mob lives on in Howlin' Maggie.
