Early-80s San Francisco band, whose brief success gave indie 415 Records (and bands like Translator) a foot in the door at CBS; when the door slammed, surgery was required. 15 minutes of famelets, en masse. With "Never Say Never", they launched a catchphrase for a sec: "I might like you better if we slept together", wailed by Deborah Iyall, perhaps the most famous Native American rock singer of the era. They pop-ified Lydia Lunch and X-Ray Spex for that brief moment. Then fizzled.
