Guitarist for the hair metal band Bon Jovi. He is often considered the most talented member of the band and one of the reasons they have outlasted every other hair metal band. Sambora has co-written four number 1 hit singles including the sing along classic Livin' on a Prayer.
Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi's acoustic performance of Wanted Dead or Alive at the 1989 MTV Music Video Awards was the inspiration for the MTV Unplugged series of concerts and made VH1's top 100 music on television moments.
Sambora is currently married to Heather Locklear, star of Dynasty, Melrose Place, and Spin City.
