The reproductive system is the group of anatomical organs whose primary function is the production of offspring. In humans, there are two sexes: male and female. The female's reproductive role is the production of ova and the subsequent gestation of the fertilized embyro to a full term fetus. The male reproductive's role is to produce sperm and to deliver them into the female.

Maturation of the respective male and female reproductive systems takes place at puberty.
