I smell cinnamon and spices
I hear music everywhere
All around [a] kaleidoscope of color
I think that maybe I'm dreamin'

"Renaissance Fair" is a psychedelic song by the Byrds, originally included on their album Younger Than Yesterday (released in 1967), but more recently on numerous compilations. It is a wonderful song in part because of its instrumentation, but the lyrics also capture the otherworldliness of a renaissance festival in an unusual way. In my opinion, this is one of the Byrds’ best, along with "Turn! Turn! Turn!," "Eight Miles High," and "So You Want To Be A Rock 'N' Roll Star."

See Renaissance Festival for descriptions of what a Renaissance Fair/Faire/Festival actually is. The Byrds spelled it "Fair," so the lyrics go here, but more on the topic is there.
