Excellent sensory perception. Fast in vehicular mode. Carries 25-mile range rocket launcher and particle beam rifle. Prone to rash judgements which can lead to injury to himself and comrades.

Transformers Tech Specs
Red Alert enjoyed the prestige of having an entire episode of the Transformers cartoon about just him and his neurotic behavior ("Auto Berserk"), but outside of that he was rarely seen. Invariably he'd be partnered with the Autobot fire engine Inferno, introduced in the same year.
He was made from the same Lamborghini mold as Sideswipe from the previous year, which was probably a hundred times more sporty than any real-life fire chief could afford to drive.
