Raoult's Law

Law derived by the French scientist Francois-Marie Raoult describing the relationship between the vapor pressure of a solvent to its mole fraction in a solution.

The equation is usually written as:
P = XsolventPpure

Where X is the mole fraction of the solvent and Ppure is the vapor pressure of the pure solvent.
