The
fahrenheit equivalent of the
kelvin scale. 0 is
absolute zero. 459.67 in
rankine is 0 in
fahrenheit
and so on. Basically it's a
useless scale that was
created to parallel
kelvin, and provide the same
functionality (
thermodynamics is MUCH more
useful when you surpass that whole
division
by
zero thing) but it was never widely adopted.
