One of the more tragic of the many fucked up characters in the film Magnolia. Exploited as a child by his parents, who kept his monetary winnings from a kids' quiz show, he now leads a lonely, loveless life which never lives up to his remembered glory as a child star. His awkward attempts to win the heart of the person on whom he has a crush lead only to embarrassment, and the realisation that he has no chance of success. In a tearful moment towards the movie's end, he sputters what, to me, is the most heart-wrenching line of the film: "I really do have love to give, I just don't know where to put it!"
