Similar to the Pink Floyd Synchronization phenomena. One of my college roommates and I found that when you turn down the sound on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon The Jetsons (one of the older ones) and put on It Takes A Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back by Public Enemy, the two will synch up. At certain times it appeared that the characters were rapping -- during one scene, George Jetson actually grabbed a microphone away from a reporter and started angrily shouting into it while pumping his fist in the air, a clear call for the brothers to hit the Man HARD. At other times the action will mirror what's being said in the lyrics, as when a giant alien swallowed a bystander whole while Flavor Flav chanted "Eat it and taste it and swallow it down."

We also tried this with Woody Woodpecker cartoons, but it didn't work. We made some interesting progress with Woody and the Sex Pistols, however.
