A 26-part
anime following the adventures of a girl high school's
hardball team.
The story centres around Ryo Hayakawa, the daughter of an Udon shop owner who
has is gifted at pitching and who is offered a place at the prestigious and
private Kisaragi Girls High School under the condition that she play
on the newly created baseball team. This move is met with much resentment by
Izumi Himuro, the school chairman's spoiled upper middle class daughter and tennis
phenom who does not understand her mother's long time fascination with baseball.
The story then follows the comic antics of putting together a make shift baseball
team alternately composed of child prodigies and bungling bimbos, along with
the rivalry between Izumi and Ryo.
