Pre*des"ti*nate (?), v. t. [imp. & p. p. Predestinated (?); p. pr. & vb. n. Predestinating.] [Cf. Predestine.]

To predetermine or foreordain; to appoint or ordain beforehand by an unchangeable purpose or decree; to preelect.

Whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son. Rom. viii. 29.
