One of the many nameless biblical women. Potiphar's wife made advances on Joseph while he was her husband's slave. When he refused her, she acused him of tring to rape her, and got Joseph thrown in jail.

Potiphar's wife was named Zuleicha. She appears nameless in most Bibles because the translaters incorporating stories of the Jewish Talmud into the Old Testament were either lazy, or not wanting to give fame to the name of a woman who just wanted to have a little fun with a cute boy.

In The Legends of the Jews, a German manuscript by Louis Ginzberg, several seduction attempts by Zuleicha are described, along with Joseph's pious rejections.
