Poets of the Fall (POTF) are a band from Helsinki, Finland set up by the Irish singer Mark and the guitarist Ollie. If you listen to their music, you'll find that the first part of their name, "Poets" is quite apt.
Set up in 2002, their music is quite soulful and jazzy. Some of my favorite pieces of music are "Late Goodbye" and "the beautiful ones".
The band is quite famous among players of Max Payne 2 as the song is featured throughout the game. Remedy who listened to their music asked Mark to write a song for the game. This lead to POTF becoming quite famous after the release of the game.
Poets of the Fall have realised one album so far, called "Signs of Life".
