Poco

A wonderful country rock band back in the early hippie days.

After the Buffalo Springfield, Richie Furay formed Poco. The band included Furay, Jim Messina, Randy Meisner, Rusty Young and George Grantham. Later, Timothy B. Schmidt joined as the bass player and background vocalist. Schmidt went on to be a large part of the Eagles. You can hear him singing back-up on several pop songs on the radio from the 70's and the 80's.

Loggins and Messina (formed when Jim Messina collaborated w/ Kenny Loggins) went on to form a group by that name.

Seeing Poco play live back then was a real treat.
