place

(place) by Posmella (1.1 d) (print)   ?   (I like it!) Fri Sep 07 2001 at 10:31:56

A poem that I wrote when I was 10, was called The Place, so I thought I'd put it here for a laugh.

There is a place
somewhere
That you can visit
in your mind
It only takes a minute and
you leave your worries
far behind.

People come here
for peace,
for solitude,
and safety
when things are too much
to bear.
They come here.

There is a thought pool,
to drop your worries into,
like a wishing well,
and a tree on a hill
you can climb
to reflect.
This place,
is safe,
for people.

In some ways, it applies to E2.
