Pingu

Pingu is the little claymation penguin from a japanese television show. He is now immortalized on young girls stationary sets. He can be found on pencils, pens, markers, erasers, and cases.

He does indeed resemble Tux. He even has a girlfriend, pinga.

A children's TV show produced in Switzerland. Pingu is a mischievous claymation penguin. He speaks Pingunese and when excited or angry, morphs his beak into a trumpet and shouts NUUUT! NUUUT!

Cast of characters:

• Pingu - The star, as cool as Tux
• Pinga - Pingu's little sister, she still has her chick feathers
• Pingi - Pingu's girlfriend, notable for extreme eyelashes
• Robby - A seal, one of Pingu's friends
• Punky and Pingo - Penguin friends.
• Papa - Pingu's father, he's a mail carrier (Mailpenguin? Postpenguin?)
• Mama - Stay-at-home mom to take care of Pinga

Useless trivia: In 1993, David Hasselhoff--Yes, Mr. Baywatch-- recorded a ditty called the Pingu Dance, excerpt:
