Pinewoods Camp is a
folk dance camp in the woods of
Plymouth,
Massachusetts. It hosts week and weekend-long sessions which are run by different
organizations. The majority of the weeks are done by the
Country Dance and Song Society (
CDSS). Some weeks are geared mostly towards adult campers, and some are more for families.
Campers stay in small cabins with usually two people per room. Social activities take place in several pavillions located throughout the grounds. The camp has two lakes available for use. They are best used after an evening dance, when campers take a dip in the water to cool off.
Some people call me "gay" for going to a folk dance camp. I'm straight, though. Really.
