An autobiography of Iceberg Slim that serves as both an advertisement and cautionary tale about the world of a pimp.

Slim lays out the rules and the pitfalls of the pimping game, and guides us through a world where grown men call each other names like 'Glass Top' and 'Sweet' without beating each other up.

The book is written in the midwestern pimp lingo of the 1960s, but comes with a helpful glossary at the back, so squares like us can figure out what Slim means when he talks about 'Strides'(trousers) or 'Girl'(cocaine).

A warning: It's not for the squeamish. Slim tells, in detail, how he used a combination mind games and brute force to keep his whores out on the street, working for him.
