The Parade Night song is one written by the freshman songsmistress at Bryn Mawr College, usually to the tune of a well-known song (eg. You are my sunshine or Flintstones). This song will sing the praises of the incoming class, and make fun of the sophomores that year, while cheering on the juniors, who are the sister class of the frosh. It is the job of the sophomore songsmistress to figure out what song is being used, and to make a parody of that song. These two songs are first sung at the Parade Night step sing, and are sung at every step sing after that, until the sophomores have graduated.
