A redesigned PCE Duo released in 1993 for about 300 yen cheaper than it's predecessor. It was about the same size, but was lighter-colored and more contoured as well as missing the headphone jack on the front of the unit. NEC soon decided to flood the market once more and released the Duo-RX shortly after.
