Another pathognomonic sign of infective endocarditis. Osler's nodes are named after Sir William Osler (1849-1919), a Canadian physician and academic.

They are tender, red to purplish subcutaneous nodules found in the fingers and/or toes associated with emboli from infective endocarditis.
