An Orthocosm (from my Neological Lexicon) means a perpendicular or parallel universe or "other dimension". It is used in a state of cognitive dissonance to resolve irreconcilable differences between friends who cannot agree. Everyone's point of view is arbitrary and barely self-consistent. There is no true religion, except the one they believe in. Ortho=near or perpendicular; Cosmos=world

The Major Orthocosms are quasi-places which others dismiss as imaginary, where people actually do live, and there are an arbitrary number of them, numbered as integers. Generally, 30 to 35 are used as the spectrum between hell and paradise.

30=Hell (the worst of things)
31=Staticity (unchanging, familiar, not necessarily boring)
32=Mediocrity (Average)
33=Essence (of Beautiful Gardens and Music, etc.)
34=Dynamicity (exciting spontaneous energetic progressive change)
35=Potentiality (The best possible state of things)

The Minor Orthocosms are mere deviations from either Consensus Reality (which is rather dark and cloudy these days) or are specific versions of a major orthocosm.

Consensus Reality is Orthocosm 32. There are two worse and three greater Major Orthocosms on this planet. Since 32 is the top of the bell curve, sometimes more than moderate deviations from it are assigned less permanent numbers in the range of 11 to 19.
