A small city in Ontario, located on the west side of the intersection between Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching. It is just off of the 400 North East of Barrie

Orillia features a highway that crosses the channel that runs between Simcoe and Couchiching. Said highway is the ONLY way to get between most of Eastern Northern Central Southern Ontario (Kawartha Lakes area) and Western Northern Central Southern Ontario (Collingwood, Wasaga Beach). About 10,000 people need to use this single two lane, 300m stretch of highway every hour. There are traffic lights there. It sucks.

Note: I learned the successive approximation North, East, South, West thing giving directions while working at a gas station. :)
