A famous street in Singapore, named after the many nutmeg and pepper plantations that surrounded it in the early 1800s. Today it's known for shopping, restaurants, bars, and discos. I found it similar in appearance to Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida, though much livelier. It's often compared to Hong Kong's Nathan Road, New York's Fifth Avenue, Tokyo's Ginza, or Paris's Champs Elysées.
