Curling is a great sport. You're hucking big rocks down a sheet of ice, trying to place more of your rocks close to the center of a circle at the end than your opponenet. And drinking. You can't forget about the drinking.

It's not considered a real sport by many people, including some of the people who won some of these medals. It's a fun game though, and I suggest you try it some day. Just don't forget the beer.

It didn't become a full fledged Olympic sport until the 1998 games in Nagano, Japan, however women's exhibition games were played at the Olympics in 1988 and 1992.
