Hi everybody! I hope you’re doing good!. I’m in the fourth grade now and it’s really exciting. It started out kind of hard but I think I’m getting used to it. The teachers expect more of me and I’m trying my best.
I’m taking clarinet lessons! So far it’s been going good but sometimes I get a headache from blowing too hard. My birthday is coming up soon and I don’t know what I want. My mom is going to have a party at her house for me. I don’t know what my dad is going to do – he says it will be a surprise.
I got to see my sisters when I went to New York City and one of them started writing here too. I hope everybody is as nice to her as they are to me.
I wrote a poem called “Stars in the Sky”. I hope you like it.
Stars in the Sky
The stars in the sky
They blink like an eye
And my life is moving too fast
The stars in the sky
They dance and they sigh
And I know these times they won’t last
The stars in the sky
They sing and they cry
And I won’t worry about the past
The stars in the sky
They hide and they’re shy
And I like the light that they cast
