NOVA is a system of two year community colleges in Northern Virginia near Washington DC. There are campuses in Alexandria, Annandale(the oldest), Manassas(next to the Civil War battlefield), and Loudoun, and Woodbridge, Virginia. NOVA or NVCC is the largest degree granting institution in the state of Virginia. The college president is Dr. Belle Wheelan. The campuses are convienient to Interstate 95, route 66, and the Capital Beltway(Highway 495).
