(1996 - 2001) Cop show starring Don Johnson as Captain Nash Bridges, head of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of the the San Francisco Police Department. Cheech Marin co-stars as his partner Joe Dominguez, who rides around with Nash in a yellow 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda convertible. Yasmine Bleeth appeared on the show for two seasons as Inspector Caitlin Cross, an Internal Affairs investigator assigned to investigate the SIU, who eventually became Bridges' love interest, until Bleeth left to star in the short-lived soap opera Titans. Supporting characters include Bridges' father, daughter, and ex-wives, and the cops who work for Bridges in the SIU. Hunter S. Thompson helped create the show and has written the scripts for many episodes.
