Japanese town , some 60 kilometres northeast of Tokyo, in
Chiba, that is host to
Tokyo's major international airport, the
New Tokyo International AirportNarita is also a temple town, with the large Naritasan Shinsho-ji being a very important Buddhist temple.
Narita is well worth exploring if your travel arrangements allow for a few hours layover at the airport. Shopping for handicrafts and mochi is excellent.
