Nanase Aikawa

Really rockin' Japanese rock singer. Her album Red kicks ass. Some of her better songs are Break Out, Like a Hard Rain and Yume Miru Shoujo Ja Irarenai. At one point she had blond hair, and looked a lot like Priss from BubbleGum Crisis. By June 2001, she has the following albums available: Red, Crimson, Paradox, ID, Foxtrot, and Purana. While Aikawa-san may sound tough in her songs (which I consider a refreshing change compared with most j-pop), in person she looks and talks not much different from your standard cutesy idol singer. I've seen her in a talkshow on Japanese TV, and was somewhat disappointed. But then again, I suppose even most Heavy Metal band members are just regular guys when they're not on stage...
