Node Volley, Round 8: A Man Saw A Ball Of Gold In The Sky

No one has seen in over ten thousand years
A miracle worth worshipping.
We live amid instances of magic daily,
Time and space collapsed to keyboards.

The true crime is the loss of novelty
On the forced march towards rationality.
Yet I would be the first to admit
That too much magical thinking is a kind of cancer.

I propose a compromise:
The body knows not the difference
Between empirical stimulus and mere thought.
Therefore, take magical actions for rational reasons.
