A septugenarian asthmatic nun, who founded, and continues to head, EWTN, a Catholic broadcasting network. She is also the host of two one-hour live broadcasts, one of which is a talk show, and the other is, essentially, an ad-libbed monologue (with the occasional call-in from the viewing audience) - in that hour, she can make you laugh, cry, giggle, or rediscover your sense of shame. Beats Leno and Letterman any day, and makes them look like evil robotniki sent by The Man.

Editors Note: Mother Angelica died on March 27, 2016 (Easter Sunday) at the age of 92 from complications due to the stroke suffered earlier in her life.
