Montreal is a city in
Quebec, which is in turn in
Canada. In many ways, Montreal is in fact the heart of the entire Province of
Quebec.
Both English and French are generally spoken there, though there is something of a bias, at least by the government, towards French, or should I say ...Quebecois.
