A mountain, which is really a large hill with personality, in the middle of Montreal. It is a public park with many natural, unkept areas, designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, who was also responsible for Central Park in New York. There are roads, bike paths, avalanches, sculptures, beavers, a skating pond, sleaziness, and a good view of the fireworks every summer.
