These are small zit-like bumps that appear on the body in various places. These moluscum are attributed to a virus that is passed through contact with an infected person. The bumps are painless and seem harmless at first. The problem is they multiply at a very alarming rate. They are also not the most attractive skin accessory. They will continue to spread until they are removed. The most popular removal methods are liquid nitrogen or a cream. These bumps may return over time but as long as you continue to see your doctor they will eventually go away completely.
