Coach of football's Denver Broncos (1995-present). Nicknamed "the Mastermind" for his innovative play-calling. A proponent of the "west coast offense," Shanahan apprenticed under Bill Walsh as an assistant coach with the 49ers in the early 1990s. Shanahan's Broncos won back-to-back Super Bowls in 1998 and 1999.
