Microwave Astronomy is the study of Astronomical Objects in the Microwave Spectrum. This is done mostly with satellite based telescopes, such as RoSat and MAP, since the Earth's Atmosphere Filters microwave Radiation.

Microwaves are used primarily to measure the Microwave Background Radiation of the Universe, which give much information on cosmological origins.
