Microsoft's hideous excuse for a method of publishing web sites onto a web server from a FrontPage client. The extensions are known for creating a ton of useless directories on the server side with a bunch of vti_ junk, which serve absolutley no purpose than to waste disk space. The server extensions for Unix are filled with compromising security problems, and in general, just a pain in the ass to get working.
