For the most part, cars are made up of
steel. But there are also several other metals present in a modern car. Here is a (nearly) complete list of these metals and their use.
And, as you can see from the list, there's quite a lot of valuable/hazardous material in a car. And that's not counting the plastics.
So remember, recycle your car when you've finished with it! Just leave it out on the road for the garbage man to pick up.
