Shamans acted as doctor, mage, priest and oracle all wrapped into one. They could predict weather, future events and some could even take control of either. They would cure the sick with intimate knowledge of assorted plants and herbs.
Medeoulin were not always "good", however, and some would use their powers to take advantage of weaker peoples.
