A graduate degree awarded by a number of seminaries and divinity schools. Usually the culmination of a ministerial rather than an academic course of studies. Alumni/ae of Harvard Divinity School who earn this degree are entitled to wear crimson robes that are otherwise the perogative of those who earn doctoral degrees from Harvard.
